DoctorOS Terms of Service

DoctorOS provides a software-as-a-service EMR and clinic-management platform for doctors and clinics in Bangladesh. Verified BMDC doctors receive the full Solo plan free, permanently. The Service is also offered in three paid tiers: Clinic, Group, and Hospital. See Pricing for current rates.

Doctors with a valid BMDC registration receive the Solo plan free of charge, permanently. Verification is performed against the BMDC public registry (bmdc.org.bd/search-doctor) and typically completes within 24 hours. Non-BMDC users receive a 30-day free trial of the Solo plan; after the trial, the monthly rate applies. Paid tiers (Clinic, Group, Hospital) are billed monthly in advance in BDT via bKash, Nagad, or SSLCommerz. Annual billing is available at a 20% discount. Failed payments enter a 14-day grace period; suspension follows if not resolved.

• You must hold a valid BMDC registration to practice medicine commercially in Bangladesh and to access the full free tier
• You must NOT issue prescriptions or clinical advice through the Service for patients outside your scope of BMDC-registered practice
• You must obtain patient consent before recording health information per PDP Act 2023 §5 and retain documentation of that consent
• You must NOT share patient health information outside lawfully permitted parties or use patient data for any purpose other than direct clinical care
• You must NOT rely on DoctorOS features (auto-BMI, drug autocomplete, BMDC compliance checks) as a substitute for your own professional clinical judgment
• You must NOT share your account credentials with unlicensed individuals or allow non-BMDC users to issue prescriptions through your account

DoctorOS is a clinical documentation and practice-management tool. Doctors and clinic operators carry sole professional and legal liability for their clinical decisions, prescriptions, diagnoses, and patient interactions. Our features assist with documentation, scheduling, and record-keeping but do not replace clinical judgment. DoctorOS bears no liability for clinical outcomes arising from the use or misuse of prescriptions written through the platform.

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days notice. On cancellation of a paid plan, your account reverts to the Solo (free) tier if you have a valid BMDC verification, or is suspended if not. On full account deletion, you have 30 days to request a full export (CSV + SQLite + archived PDFs). After 30 days, all personal data is deleted per PDP Act 2023 §15. Patient health records may be subject to minimum six-year retention obligations — we will inform you of any records that cannot be deleted and the earliest date they can be.

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Disputes will be resolved by arbitration in Dhaka per the Bangladesh Arbitration Act 2001. For any question, email support@doctoros.work.
